Meet Abby – Owner, Lead Groomer & Certified Animal Care Professional
Abby Hennen, the heart and soul behind Diggity DAWG Grooming, began her journey in the pet care industry in 2011. What started as a job at a dog boarding facility quickly turned into a lifelong passion for working with animals. After several years of hands-on experience caring for, cleaning, playing with, and grooming dogs, Abby realized her true calling — grooming with purpose and compassion.
She enrolled in Rio Gran Grooming School in Hastings, MN, where she honed her technical skills and became a certified pet groomer in 2014. That same year, Abby launched her first business — A&H Pet Salon — and immediately gained a loyal following of clients who appreciated her attention to detail and gentle touch.
In addition to her grooming certification, Abby is also trained in Pet First Aid and Animal CPR, a credential she earned at Century College in 2013. These qualifications ensure that every pet in her care is not only pampered — but also protected in case of emergencies.
More than a decade later, Abby continues to lead Diggity DAWG Grooming with the same mission she started with: to treat every pet with love, patience, and professionalism.
